You're Almost Out of Time

I don't usually comment on any of the "taboo" don't-talk-about-that-at-the-dinner-table type subjects on my blog, but I'm breaking that rule a little today.

Politics.

I don't know where you stand. I don't know if you "Hope for Change" with Obama, want to follow the "Maverick" with McCain or if you just think that the resemblance between Palin and Tina Fey is uncanny and can't wait for more Saturday Night Live episodes with her. I don't know if you watch debates, rate debates, or start debates yourself about this stuff. I don't know if you're pro life, pro choice, or pro common sense. I don't know if you've lost your house in this crisis, or if you're watching your retirement go down the drain. But I do know this.

You can help do something about it. Wherever you stand. And, in my opinion, you can't complain if you aren't willing to do SOMETHING. Even something that seems small. Like vote. And that's where it starts.

Take a look at this rather funny and star-studded video I came across earlier today.

I tried to post this on my blog yesterday too. I couldn't get it to work, so I'm glad you did. I just emailed it to a bunch of people instead.

Hey! Unrelated to your post, but related to what you put on mine. Paul made a template out of cardboard. Most of our drawers are the same size, so he just used it over and over. He made a separate template for the doors. He and I are both pretty anal about that too. Paul also made sure to pre-drill the cabinets. If you want to know how he did it, just give me a call.
