This Week's Submission

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Ok, I know I said I was going to take a vote, but I ended up getting some advice from another photographer and my husband, I went ahead and went to print. Here it is!

Keep in mind, we're supposed to be trying to capture a story - something that makes you wonder, that begs a question, or displays tension via the subject, the conflict, or the setting. I hope I accomplished that. I LOVE feedback though! So tell me, what does this photo make you think?

The first thing I thought of was someone just at their wits end, totally stressed out...the world is moving so fast around them and they just cant keep up. Their problems seem to never end, like they're going 2mph in the fast lane of life. The need to sit down, stop, ignore the surroundings and focus on the problems at hand. The world wont stop moving around us, but if we can just bury our head in our hands at least we wont become nauseous while we try to catch up.

Either that or a hangover =)

Being alone in a sea of people. You can have hundreds of thousands of people around you and still feel empty, isolated, and just so alone. That's what this photo evokes, at least to me.
